In 1993, when Mattel stopped making Cherry Merry Muffin dolls, the mold was sold to Disney, who made the 6 "It's a Small World" dolls. They have the same body and the same head as the Cherry Merry Muffin (it's written Mattel © 1988 on the neck and on the back of the "It's a Small World" dolls), but the eyes and the shoes are painted differently. They don't have the same plastic for the legs and the arms, Cherry Merry Muffin's is harder, and the "It's a Small World" dolls don't stand very well. They aren't scented and they don't come with accessories. But they are so cute.
